  • Flight from Timișoara at 18:05 with Lufthansa flight LH1659 to Munich.

  • Short layover in Munich airport.

  • Continued journey to Hamburg on Lufthansa LH2086, arriving at 22:05.

  • Rented a car for flexibility and ease of travel.

  • Drove 25 minutes to our accommodation in Speicherstadt.

  • Accomodation: Adina Apartment Hotel Hamburg Speicherstadt.

  • Late breakfast at Tagliere e Vino restaurant.

  • Drove 30 minutes from city center to Hamburg Finkenwerder airport.

  • 14:30 - 17:00 - Hamburg Finkenwerder Airbus Tour  (A320 Family final assembly line, A330/A350 backward fuselage manufacturing)

  • 1h drive to Lübeck:

  • Visited Lübeck historic center (Niederegger, St. Petri zu Lübeck church, Marienkirche, Heiligen Geist Hospital, and Burgtor)

  • Dinner at The Newport Restaurant & Marina - Lübeck.

  • Return to Hamburg

  • Attended the Easter Vigil at St. Petri Church in Hamburg.

  • Accomodation: Adina Apartment Hotel Hamburg Speicherstadt.

31st March 2024

  • Hamburg City Tour:

  • Binnenalster, Rathausmarkt, Sankt Nikolai Mahnmal, and Elbphilharmonie.

  • Speicherstadt

  • Drove back to the airport for Lufthansa flight LH2063 to Munich.

  • Short layover in Munich airport.

  • Flew back to Timișoara on Lufthansa LH1660 flight.

  • Arrival in Timișoara at 22:20, marking the first day of Romania being part of the Schengen area with the aerial borders.
